Soffban® Natural is a high-quality viscose padding designed for use beneath both plaster of Paris and synthetic casts. Its highly absorbent, natural viscose fibres draw moisture and exudate away from the skin, helping reduce the risk of maceration and maintaining comfort throughout the casting period.

Versatile and easy to apply, Soffban® conforms beautifully to body contours and can be torn or feathered easily for a smooth, even finish. The soft, stable padding structure provides excellent cushioning — protecting the patient’s skin from the rigid cast material and offering a layer of safety during cast removal.

In addition to orthopaedic use, Soffban® Natural is also widely used as Layer 1 in venous leg ulcer multi-layer bandaging therapy, demonstrating its adaptability and trusted performance in clinical environments.

Soffban® Natural is autoclavable and can be sterilised without removing its paper wrapping, ensuring convenience and maintaining sterility when needed.
